Anger is powerful. It tells us about violated boundaries, unspoken shame, grief or loneliness. It’s energetic. It has the potential to transform.
Yet, in the therapy room it can feel too much. Scary. What do I do if it escalates? How do I contain rage? What if it’s turned on me? The result can be a rush to regulation, to shutting it down leaving the client alone in their experience.
Our experiential workshop offers a relational framework for understanding and working with anger. We will explore how it can become a pathway to depth, authenticity and repair.
Participants will learn how to recognize defensive versus core anger, track their own countertransference, and use the therapeutic relationship as a space for safe expression and transformation.
